“ I placed a takeout order for 102 Peking Gourmet Duck sliced roast duck spring onions tossfried in plum sauce for 17.50 and Barbecue Spare Ribs 4 for 8.95. The order was ready on time and the staff were very friendly and chatty on a very cold night. The ribs looked, smelled, and tasted amazing, although 1 or 2 of them had a very slight odor of overcooked or burned oil perhaps they were on a baking tray with oil from a previous meal that had burned on?, but this didnt detract from how yummy they were! The duck...well, they have several different duck dishes 101 Peking Duck whole or half, what I got, and 208 Hunan Duck, which I will probably get next time, just for variety, although I was hoping for just crispy roast duck, as I get from another Chinese restaurant near my work in Leesburg. It was tasty, although not what I expected, and overall a pleasant experience, so Id definitely try their food again. ”

The cozy dining room, with complementary tea and the fantastic cooking felt exactly like NYC and DC Chinese restaurants I remember from childhood. “ Support familyowned businesses... this is as Mom Pop as it gets. Unfortunately, there is a certain reality to running a oneoff brick and mortat in the postpandemic world. The prices are a little high for classic ChineseAmerican i.e. the word Peking is all over the menu so gauge your expectations food, but I find this to be a less pretentious and more wellprepared sleeper over Peter Changs which is modern and consistently underperforms for what it is. The two restaurants arent really that comparable, but I grew up with homemade Chinese food, and this is the kind of food that is more common on a regular basisa long with a lot fo Chinese American mainstays you can get the General Tsos and Crab Rangoon, but there are other gems if you explore the menus a bit. The House Special Chicken has a Korean fried chicken vibe... think soygarlic flavor, thats crispy and hot. I also love their Peking Eggplant, which is cooked fresh and hot, and is basicalkt Yushiang Eggplant on other menus. The guy in the back knows what hes doing, and you can hear his vocal joy of cooking. No apparent online vehicles to order ahead... theyre old school, so you just have to go there or call in your order. Yes, it would be nice if they had delivery options. ”
